After a long weeks work in the transport industry there is nothing better, for me, than to spend a few hours outside, camera set up, remote trigger in hand, waiting for the right picture. Just great.
All of these pictures were mainly taken in East Anglia i do however like to visit other sites
Composition (and patience) is one of the hardest things. A wrong move,a stifled cough or a flick and most wildlife will run/fly off in the opposite direction to where my lens is pointed. That, I suppose, is what makes this type of photography the most challenging. When you capture the right image it is a marvellous thing to look at and definitely something to celebrate. As for the other thirty or so pictures of tail feathers or bums running off in the distance well you won’t see them here.
